About
Deirdre Lawrence Kittner, PhD, MPH is a seasoned public health professional with 28 years of experience dedicated to addressing tobacco-related health disparities and advancing cancer prevention. Her career has been rooted in improving wellness within communities that have historically been underserved, advocating for equitable access to tobacco cessation resources, policy protections, and health education.
With Soul Serenity, Dr. Dee brings her deep commitment to public health into a new, healing space — one that centers rest, stillness, and restorative movement. This nervous-system-led yoga practice is designed to support individuals navigating life’s transitions, including retirement, career shifts, burnout recovery, and emotional healing.
Grounded in public health principles, Soul Serenity emphasizes the transformative power of breath, rest, and gentle movement as essential components of well-being. Dr. Dee’s work continues to bridge the gap in care by addressing a critical yet often overlooked need: the importance of rest, sleep, and emotional renewal — especially in communities where these practices have not always been accessible.
Through Soul Serenity, Dr. Dee invites you to reclaim your health, reconnect with your body, and rediscover the healing potential of simply being.
